Protocol Overview

Simple Process

We provide the paperwork. You choose the lender route. A transparent way to purchase in NZ without “mystery” dealer finance.

01. Your Bank

ANZ, BNZ, ASB, Westpac, Kiwibank, etc.

1
Quote Pack
We prepare a pro-forma invoice + vehicle details (VIN/specs) + timing plan.
2
Apply
You submit the pack to your bank and complete their assessment steps.
3
Sync
We align payment / pickup / delivery timing with your approval window.

02. AA Money

A mainstream option many NZ buyers recognise

If you prefer a motoring-focused lender route, AA Money is a common choice in New Zealand. We don’t apply on your behalf — we prepare the same bank-ready quote pack so your application has clear vehicle data and fewer back-and-forth requests.

Tip: Always compare rates, fees, and total repayment. Lenders decide approval and terms based on your profile.

03. Good Shepherd NZ

A community option (Good Loans) – for eligible buyers

If a traditional lender is difficult, Good Shepherd NZ may be worth checking. Their Good Loans are described as no-interest and fee-free, and can be used for buying or repairing cars (eligibility criteria apply).

Frequently Asked

Do you offer finance directly?
No. Beat Motors NZ is not a lender and we do not sell finance products. Our role is to prepare a clean, lender-friendly quote pack (invoice + VIN/specs + timing notes) so you can apply through a mainstream lender of your choice.
What is a “bank-ready quote pack”?
A document pack lenders commonly request to assess a vehicle purchase. Typically includes:
  • Pro-forma invoice (price, costs, payment instructions)
  • Vehicle details (VIN, year, make/model, key specs)
  • Delivery/pickup timing plan
What information do you need from me to start?
Usually just: The vehicle details, your preferred lender route, deposit preference, and your location. We’ll reply with a short checklist.
How long does lender approval usually take?
It varies by lender. Some can be quick; others take longer. Having your ID and documents ready speeds up the process significantly.
Can you guarantee approval, interest rate, or weekly repayments?
No. Approval and terms are set by the lender based on your personal profile. Any figures shown on the site are indicative only.
Do you apply to the lender for me?
No. You apply directly with your chosen lender. We support you by providing the vehicle documentation and aligning timing.
What happens after approval?
We confirm final invoice details, you arrange payment with the lender, and we coordinate delivery timing and paperwork.
Why don’t you promote “easy approval” finance?
We prefer transparent, mainstream options where the total cost is easier to understand, avoiding expensive hidden fees or pressure tactics.
Can you work with lenders other than my bank or AA?
Yes. The quote pack is designed to be lender-friendly in general. We can adapt it if your lender needs specific details.
What if the lender asks for extra documents?
That’s normal. Lenders may request extra verification based on your status. We can update the vehicle pack quickly if they need more info.
